Best ski weekend I've had in years
The slopes here are just incredible. Fresh powder, well-groomed runs, and the Mont d'Arbois area is absolutely worth it. Everything flows so well and the lifts are modern. Really hard to fault any of it.
Megeve in winter is something else
The whole place just feels special when there's snow on the ground. Skiing was great but walking around the old village in the evening was equally good. The raclette at a little spot near Place de l'Eglise was so warming and delicious after a long day on the mountain. Totally worth the trip.
Great family ski trip
We brought the kids and it worked out brilliantly. The slopes have good options for beginners and the village itself is safe and easy to get around. Ski school was well organised and the instructors were patient. Food options everywhere suited all ages too.
Charming mountain village with top skiing
Came here mainly for the skiing and left impressed by the whole package. The village has a real character to it - cobblestone streets, local shops, cosy restaurants. Tried tartiflette for the first time and wow, that dish is seriously good. Mont Blanc views on a clear day are unreal.
Lovely place even off the slopes
Not a skier myself but came with friends and still had a brilliant time. The Rochebrune cable car gives amazing views even if you're just going up for lunch. Village shopping is cute and the fondue spots are genuinely good. Felt relaxed the whole stay.
Perfect Christmas ski break
Megeve at Christmas is just beautiful. Snow-covered rooftops, lights everywhere, and the skiing was already great by late December. The village market had local cheeses and charcuterie that were so good. Felt like a proper Alpine Christmas, not a touristy one.
